- Provide a resource pool of clinically relevant refereed studies that demonstrate the role of safe nutritional support for the management of ocular and systemic disease.
- Promote lifestyle education to healthcare providers and consumers about nutritional approaches for reducing the likelihood of the development of vision loss and poor health.
- Influence the inclusion of nutrition and wellness education in the curricula of medical and optometry schools, universities and colleges.
Partner with other nutrition and wellness societies, (partnerships) and government agencies that promote healthy nutrition and influence health policy that supports nutrition education.
